The Reiki Sound Sanctuary

The Reiki Sound Sanctuary was born from a simple wish - to create a calm, welcoming space where people could pause, breathe, and simply be. No expectations, no labels, no need to be spiritual or “woo woo” just a chance to relax, reset, and reconnect with yourself.

Close your eyes, feel the waves of sound, and let yourself float into a space where stress melts and calm takes over. Your body has been waiting for this.

A sound bath isn’t just a pause - it’s a reset for your mind, body, and soul.

Each month, I host a group sound bath in Littleborough using quartz crystal bowls to help you unwind and release the noise of everyday life. These evenings are designed for anyone, whether it’s your first time or fiftieth, whether you’re curious, stressed, or just need a moment to yourself.

It’s a bit of a family affair: my daughter Olivia shares her gentle Angelic Reiki during the evenings, my other daughter Beth helps hand out cacao, and my boyfriend is always on hand moving the heavy gear and keeping everything running smoothly.

We’re also joined by Zoe, who offers Angelic Reiki and private one-to-one sessions for those looking for a deeper, more personalised experience. Together, we create a welcoming, supportive space where healing, calm, and community come first, no matter who you are or what you believe.

Grab your moment of calm, clarity, and recharge

What to expect?

We’ll start with a short Cacao Ceremony to ground you and open your heart. This gentle ritual helps you set an intention for the session and fully arrive in the present moment, leaving the stresses of the outside world behind.

Then, you’ll be guided into a soothing meditation, sinking into cozy blankets as you prepare to receive the transformative power of sound. The pure tones of my quartz crystal bowls, paired with the calming sounds of ocean waves, gongs, and more, will resonate with your body and energy centers, clearing stagnant energy and restoring natural flow.

To deepen the experience, Olivia and Zoe will offer personalised Angelic Reiki, surrounding you with a supportive, high-vibration energy field that leaves you feeling calm, clear, and fully recharged.

This session is perfect for anyone who wants to:

Release anxiety and mental overload

Let go of emotional blockages and re-energise

Rebalance their energy and restore harmony

Find deep relaxation and mental clarity

Recharge and reconnect with their inner peace

Whether you’re seeking a moment of self-care or a transformative reset, this Sound Bath and Angelic Reiki experience will leave you feeling refreshed, centred, and empowered.

What to Bring?

  • A yoga mat  (I have lots of spare mats available)

  • A cozy blanket to stay warm and comfortable

  • A pillow (optional) for extra support

  • An eye mask if you prefer complete darkness (I have plenty available)

  • A water bottle to stay hydrated

What is a sound bath?

A sound bath is a deeply relaxing experience where you’re “bathed” in soothing sounds and vibrations from instruments like crystal bowls, gongs, and chimes. You simply lie down, get comfy, and let the sound do the work — helping your mind slow down and your body rest and rebalance.

What should I bring?

A yoga mat or something to lie on - We do have a limited number available if needed — they’re often used as placeholders to set the energy of the space. If you’d like to reserve one in advance, just pop us a message. Either way, we’ll do our best to make sure you feel supported and snug.

A blanket and pillow for comfort

Water bottle

Eye mask (optional but lovely!) - We do have a limited number available if needed

An open mind and permission to rest

What should I wear?

Comfy, layered clothing is ideal — whatever helps you relax and stay warm as your body cools down during deep rest.

Can I attend if I’m pregnant?

Sound baths are generally considered safe during pregnancy, especially after the first trimester. However, as every pregnancy is different, we always recommend checking with your GP or midwife before attending. You are responsible for your own health and wellbeing when choosing to participate.

If you do attend, you may wish to sit slightly upright or on your side with extra cushions for support. Always listen to your body and feel free to step out if you need to.

I have a heart condition or wear a pacemaker, is this safe for me?

Most people can safely enjoy sound healing, but certain frequencies and vibrations may not be recommended for individuals with heart conditions or those with implanted medical devices such as pacemakers. Please consult your GP or healthcare provider before attending. By joining the session, you accept responsibility for your participation.

Will I have to do anything during the sound bath?

Nope! Just relax. You’ll be guided gently at the start and end, but there’s no movement, talking, or “doing” involved. It’s your time to simply be.

Can children attend?

Unless it’s a child-friendly session, sound baths are generally best suited for adults and older teens, due to the need for stillness and quiet.

I’ve never done anything like this — what if I fall asleep or feel emotional?

That’s totally normal! Some people doze off, others feel energy shifting, and some feel deep emotions arise — all of it is welcome and part of the process. Just trust your experience and know you're held in a safe space.

Are there any side effects?

What apart from havng the best nights sleep of your life?...Most people feel calm, refreshed, or even lighter after a session. Occasionally, people may feel emotional, tired, or have vivid dreams as the body and mind release stuck energy. This is part of the rebalancing process and usually settles within 24–48 hours.

Can I book a private session or host a group event?

Absolutely. If you’d like a private 1:1, a ceremony with friends, or to include sound healing in a retreat or gathering, just get in touch to discuss.

Important Note!

While sound healing is a gentle and supportive practice, it is not a substitute for medical care or mental health support. Always consult your GP or healthcare professional if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, or are unsure whether sound healing is suitable for you. By attending a Reiki Sound Sanctuary session, you agree that your participation is at your own discretion and responsibility.
